Specs2go is a British optical retailer selling value-for-money prescription spectacles direct to the public. Our mission is to help spectacle-wearers look attractive while taking care of their eyesight, without feeling they have to pay for expensive designer frames or tolerate inferior designs.

We sell at lower prices than in high street optical stores because we do not have the high costs associated with running a shop. We save you time and money thanks to the convenience of secure, online shopping.

No waiting for an appointment. No returning to the shop to pick up your spectacles. Just select a frame, enter your prescription and order your 'specs2go'.

What we offer

In our Optical Store, you can choose from a wide range of modern and classic spectacle designs to suit your face shape. Different coloured frames are available to complement your hair and skin type. Optional frame tints can be selected at the point of purchase along with an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare.

You will need a valid optical prescription to purchase spectacles. However if you don't have your prescription to hand, you can register on the site and bookmark the frames you like for easy retrieval when you return with your prescription.

On our site, you can also find out how your eyes work or learn about lenses and the history of spectacles. Or you can test yourself on the myths of eye care and wearing spectacles.

Our optical experience

Specs2go was started by people who have worked in the optical industry for many years.

Our optical laboratory and factory is located in the UK. Experienced optical technicians carry out all prescription work in accordance with the UK Medical Devices Directive. All optical materials comply with the Medical Devices Regulations Class 1.

Spectacle frames conform to EU regulations and are stamped with the CE mark of quality.
