Lions Clubs International

Is the world's largest organisation dedicated to eradicating preventable and reversible forms of blindness. Lions Clubs also collect and distribute around 3 million pairs of spectacles every year to needy people in India and African nations. In 1998 Lions Clubs International launched World Sight Day to educate the world about the need and ability to conquer blindness. World Sight Day in 2000 was on October 12th, when the London Eye was reversed as part of the publicity drive. Help us to help someone to see clearly. Send us your old specs. Thank you.
