Your Obligations

1. You confirm that you are aged over 16 years old and are legally able to purchase prescription spectacles from Spec2go Ltd.
2. You confirm that you are not registered partially sighted or blind.
3. You agree to provide any details reasonably requested by Specs2go to confirm that you are legally able to purchase prescription spectacles.
4. You agree to make purchases on the Specs2go website using your correct name, address, date of birth and any other details requested.

Availability of goods

1. All goods advertised for sale on the site are subject to availability. If an item that you wish to order is unavailable, we shall inform you by email or phone. The reason for unavailability is usually because we are awaiting deliveries from our suppliers.
2. We shall not charge you for goods that we cannot supply for any reason. However, we will not be responsible for any damage or losses that you may suffer if we fail to supply goods.
3. We have attempted to display all the goods on the site as accurately and fairly as possible, taking account of the available reproduction techniques that apply to website design, graphical and photographic technology.

Limitations of supply

1. By English Law we are not allowed to supply spectacles to under-16 year old wearers nor to registered partially sighted or blind people.
2. We only supply spectacles with single vision lenses of a spherical power between +6.00 and -6.00 (dioptres) and a cylindrical power between +2.00 and -2.00 (dioptres).

Pricing

1. Prices displayed on the site, in catalogues, price lists or other sales literature are correct at the time of display. We reserve the right to alter prices from time to time without notice. However, once we have accepted your order, we will not change the price that applies to such order.
2. We make every effort to maintain prices but prices may occasionally move up or down depending upon changes in raw material or other processing costs.
3. All prices displayed are inclusive of United Kingdom VAT at the prevailing standard rate. UK VAT is charged on all sales to customers located within the UK or within another Member State of the European Community (EC).
4. If you are purchasing from outside the UK or another Member State of the EC, VAT will be deducted from the price of the goods
   

Postage and packaging

1. Postage and packaging charges may be added in addition to the price of the goods. Our rates for postage and packaging are displayed on the Customer Services page and are subject to change without notice.
2. We will not be responsible for any non-delivery of good by our designated carrier outside the UK.

Payment information

1. We accept payment by Visa/Mastercard/Switch/Delta or any other credit card identified on our site that may be accepted by us from time to time.
2. All credit and charge card payments are subject to validation and authorisation by the card issuer. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any non-delivery or delay.
3. You may pay for your goods by sterling cheque drawn on a UK clearing bank. However, we will not despatch your goods until the cheque has cleared.
4. After validation or receipt of your cheque, we will confirm your order by email to the email address you provided on the purchase order. Our acceptance of your order constitutes a legally binding agreement between us.
5. Transmission of your debit or credit card number or other data in relation to payment for the goods shall be at your entire risk. We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for failures in transmission of information, deletion, non-delivery or failure to store any communications by you.

Despatch of goods

1. We will deliver the goods to the address given to us by you at the time you make your purchase.
2. We endeavour to ensure that the goods are delivered to the address specified by you by any delivery date estimated by us. However, we cannot guarantee that goods will be delivered by the estimated delivery date. You agree that we shall not be liable to you for any losses, damages or charges incurred by you because of late delivery of the goods.
3. When you have received the goods at the address specified in your delivery instructions, the risk of damage to the goods shall pass to you.

Returning goods within the UK

1. We want you to be totally satisfied with the goods you buy from our site. If you are not happy with the goods you have purchased, you may return them within 14 days to us for adjustment, replacement or refund.
2. Please return the goods by mail as specified on the original despatch note to you. If you do not have the despatch note, please contact our Customer Services by email to customerservices@specs2go.co.uk or by phone on 01902 851151 for instructions and help with our returns procedure.
3. The risk of damage to any goods you return to us will remain with you until the goods have been delivered to our premises and accepted by us at those premises.

Returning good from outside the UK

1. Please return the goods within 14 days by guaranteed mail or courier to our premises. Please contact customer services by email at customerservices@specs2go.co.uk or by telephone +44 1902 851151 for instructions or help with overseas return procedures.
2. The risk of damage to any goods you return to us will remain with you until the goods have been delivered to us and accepted by us at our premises.

Liability

1. Goods purchased from our site are subject to English Law.
2. Nothing in these terms and conditions is to be taken to exclude or restrict any rights which applicable law grants to you in respect of such goods. Individual goods may be the subject of additional warranties or guarantees given by their manufacturers directly to you.
3. We do not accept any responsibility and will not be liable for any damage to the goods caused by you.
4. We shall not be liable to any person for any damage or loss that may arise from the use of any goods advertised on our site.
5. Without prejudice to your statutory rights, all the information and materials contained in this site (including, without limitation, text, graphics and links) are provided on an "as is" basis with no warranty and in particular, we do not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current or that the use of this site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Notwithstanding anything else in these terms and conditions, in relation to any one event or series of events relating to the purchase of any goods from the Specs2go site, we will not be liable for: (i) claims relating to the availability of the Specs2go optical store, the Specs2go e-commerce engine, the Specs2go Style Assistant, the Specs2go websites, points of purchase, or the success or level of sales resulting therefrom; (ii) any indirect, incidental or consequential damages or lost profits.
7. The above exclusions of liability shall not apply to any damages arising from personal injury or death where they result from our negligence or the negligence of our servants and agents in the course of their duty.

General

1. Notices served under these terms and conditions shall be in writing and will be deemed given when: (1) personally delivered; or (2) when sent by confirmed fax; or (3) three days after being sent by registered mail to the address set out in our despatch note, or to any other later address in the United Kingdom notified for that purpose.
2. Any failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions shall not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.
3. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
4. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.

Coupons, Promotional Offers and Gift Vouchers

1. Coupons and promotional offers are open to all UK residents aged 16 and over who purchase goods from our website.
2. A coupon entitles the bearer to receive a specified deduction against purchases on the Specs2go website according to the terms and conditions displayed on the coupon.
3. All eligible participants, subject to meeting the conditions of this offer, will have the amount specified on the coupon deducted from the invoice for the total order amount for said order (including VAT) on the Specs2go website before any postage and packaging charges.
4. Our normal delivery terms apply where a coupon or promotional offer is used.
5. All promotional items or goods are subject to availability and no cash or other alternatives shall be available.
6. Gift vouchers can only be redeemed at Spec2go and have a redeemable cash value of £0.0001.
7. Coupon redemption and promotional offers may be subject to a time limit specified on said coupon or on the Specs2go website. We may extend any coupon offer or promotion at our absolute discretion.
8. We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to withdraw or vary all coupons and promotional offers due to unforeseen circumstances. Any withdrawal or notification of the offer will be notified in these terms and conditions.
9. Accepting the money off at point of purchase constitutes acceptance of these conditions.

11. Coupons and promotions may be void where prohibited by law.
